• TIME MANAGEMENT IS THE PRINCIPAL COMPONENT OF LEADERSHIP EFFECTIVENESS for most business owners and execs, but most are unprepared and/or unwilling to change their routines. But overcoming the challenges to optimal efficiency & effectiveness is not a complex or complicated process; it simply requires intention, focus and commitment to giving up old ‘habits’. The major elements of achieving this are: (1) Tracking the quantity and allocation of time being spent on all activities over a representative time period; (2) Prioritizing high-value and ‘important’ activities; (3) Delegating lessor tasks to subordinates who have been coached & developed; (4) Avoiding interruptions in your new management strategy, especially by others’ perception of ‘urgencies’; (5) Remaining committed to change.  DCG have decades of experience in facilitating effective time management and improved life balance for organization leaders at all levels. • ONLY 14% OF PHONE CALLS TO I.R.S. GET ANSWERED, AND ONLY 2% OF CALLS TO ITS ‘HELPLINE.’ A shortage of personnel, attributed to low applications and delays in fingerprinting, has also created a manual processing backlog of nearly 30 million Returns – including 4.7 million Individuals filings “flagged with errors or fraud alerts,” as reported by Forbes.
  • ARGUMENTS FOR TAXING AMERICANS’ WEALTH ARE INCREASING IN EVERY POLL, justified not only as necessary, but as ‘fair,’ in response to the extraordinary pandemic catastrophe. The fundamental position is that: (1) “Extreme wealth inequality confronts the U.S. with a civilizational threat; (2) National solidarity in the face of that threat requires the rich to contribute to the relief effort; (3) and Wealth Taxes are the answer – particularly since statistics supposedly show two-thirds of America’s wealth is now held by 5% of households, with the richest 1% having increased $7 trillion (and 15 richest over $400 billion) during Covid, nearly 69% of which resulted from the bull stock market trigged by federal passage of the CARES Acts and supported subsequently by a series of government rescues.” Current Senate proposals suggest an annual tax of 2% on wealth above $50 million rising to 3% above $1 billion.  [TIME – 5/10/21]
  • LATEST FEDERAL LEGISLATION PROPOSED (by whacko Maxine Waters) is to deny federal grants to any business that conducts a Criminal Background Check on job applicants. California (and 13 other states) have already banned inquiry by private employers prior to extension of a conditional offer of employment. Waters claims this query is “often stressful and debilitating to job applicants… and for the ‘Greater Cause’ that Americans who have an arrest or conviction record are not left behind because of the fact that they have served time.”   [RED STATE – 4/30/21]
